Once part of the larger town of Boynton Beach, the town of Ocean Ridge Florida became its own separate town in 1931. Ocean Ridge is located between the Atlantic ocean and the intracoastal waterway, just East of Boynton Beach. Ocean Ridge is also home to three beautiful parks, two of which with direct beach access.
- Ocean Ridge Hammock Park, an 8.5 acre ocean front park with unguarded beach access is located on North Ocean Boulevard. It is a great fishing spot, has a public walking trail, and a two story observation platform.
- Ocean Ridge Natural Area is a 12.5 acre park right across the road from Ocean Ridge Hammock Park. The park has a long walking trail and is a beautiful place to get away from the business of the city and immerse yourself in Florida’s natural beauty.
- Ocean Inlet Park, an 11.4 acre ocean front park with guarded beach access is also located on North Ocean Boulevard. Ocean Inlet park offers waterfront access to the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Intracoastal Waterway. The park has a playground, bathroom and shower facilities, a snack bar, a marina and jetty, and covered family picnic areas.
