Originally founded by sewing machine magnate Paris Singer, Singer Island is now known for its seven miles of pristine shoreline. The island is the poster child of South Florida with its spacious sandy beaches and warm waters. Tucked between the city of Riviera Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, Singer Island offers a relaxing blend of natural beauty and upscale hotels and resorts. It is famous for its numerous beach front hotels and condominiums.
It is also located conveniently close to the downtown areas of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach. The Island is also nearby the John D. MacArthur State Park which offers nature trails, snorkeling opportunities, mangrove forests and other natural wonders. Notable residents have been singer-songwriter Clarence Clemons, professional golfer Tiger Woods, and professional golfer Michelle McGann.
